Who we are
Youth For Blood (YFB) is a youth-led, non-profit organization committed to saving lives through the promotion of voluntary blood donation. Established in 2011, YFB was founded with the vision of addressing the persistent shortage of blood in Nepal’s hospitals and health centers. Since our inception, we have inspired countless young individuals to join us in our mission to create a healthier and more compassionate society.

Our Objectives and Activities
1. Blood Donation Awareness and Mobilization
We conduct awareness campaigns, workshops, and rallies to educate the public about the importance of regular, voluntary blood donation. Our efforts are focused on eliminating myths and fears surrounding blood donation and fostering a culture of altruism.
2. Blood Request Coordination
Through our structured network and active donor database, we connect patients in need with donors 24/7. Our dedicated team ensures timely assistance, even during emergencies.
3. Blood Donation Camps
YFB organizes frequent blood donation drives across Nepal in collaboration with hospitals, colleges, and community groups. These efforts contribute significantly to maintaining a steady supply of blood for medical emergencies.
4. Advocacy for Safe Blood Practices
We champion safe blood transfusion practices and advocate for adequate reserves in blood banks to ensure patient safety.
5. Youth Engagement and Volunteerism
Youth engagement lies at the heart of YFB. By involving young individuals in social service activities, we nurture responsibility, teamwork, and leadership among the next generation.
